MS Dhoni might no longer be an active international cricketer but the craze fans have for him still remains unparalleled. The Ranchi-born wicket-keeper batter has been turning up for weddings and other social events, blessing the social media feeds of fans all across the globe. In a fresh appearance on social media, Dhoni was seen celebrating the birthday of a fan, who himself shared the video of the iconic cricketer feeding him cake on social media. The video won the hearts of many fans on the internet.
“Thank you so much bhaiya for making special bday… it’s really surprising for me Mahi bhaiya,” the fan captioned the video.
Dhoni recently appeared during the wedding engagement function of Rishabh Pant’s sister. Since the start of the new year, the legendary cricketer has been spotted at many events.
Recently, an old video of him resurfaced too, where Dhoni spoke about exploring India as a tourist, having spent most of his life so far travelling with the Indian team to various parts of the globe.
“Mostly, I do travel a lot but not for vacations. Frankly, if you ask me, I have not been on a lot of vacations. During my cricket playing time, mostly I would go to nations where cricket was there. I haven’t seen a lot because I was like I have come here to play cricket, I will play cricket and come back. So, not a lot of fun that way,” Dhoni said in the video.
“My wife loves to travel. So, now our plan is… we are getting some time off, we want to travel. But we want to start from India. We have so many beautiful places over here. I would like to explore them first before heading to different places,” he said.
