Aaron Rodgers shares Sandy Hook shooting conspiracy theory, vice president race, reaction

Jets quarterback and potential vice presidential candidate Aaron Rodgers questioned the validity of the 2012 Sandy Hook shooting in conversations with two people, CNN reported on Thursday.

One specific conversation, which occurred in 2013 with CNN reporter Pamela Brown, took place during a Kentucky Derby after-party in which Rodgers cited various disproven conspiracy theories surrounding the tragic school shooting that took the lives of 20 children and six adults.

Another person cited in the report claimed Rodgers said that “Sandy Hook never happened … All those children never existed. They were all actors.”

Rodgers also said, according to the report, that the parents of the victims had been “all making it up.”

The Jets QB made national news this week when Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. told the New York Times that Rodgers was on his shortlist of vice presidential candidates.

The Jets had no comment to The Post on the CNN report and a representative for Rodgers did not respond to a message seeking comment.
