A BRITISH man is facing the death penalty in Thailand after being caught by undercover cops allegedly dealing drugs to tourists.
Charly Garcia, 48, from London, is accused of dealing a number of class A drugs including cocaine, ketamine, ecstasy and hallucinogenics.

Thai cops have been on a mission to crackdown on drugs and have performed a number of big busts recently.
Police in Chiang Mai reportedly received a tip-off about Mr Garcia selling highly dangerous narcotics through Telegram to other tourists.
An undercover agent allegedly set up a meeting with the Brit on March 12, to buy £2,400 worth of drugs.
Cocaine, ketamine, magic mushrooms, LSD, and ecstasy were all said to be apart of the trade.
After the agent claims he was given the drugs, police reportedly stormed into the cannabis shop where the Brit was helplessly stood before arresting him.
The cops led him back to his room at the Mountain View Condominium in the Chang Phueak subdistrict where they say they made a further chilling discovery.
Around 408 grams of cocaine, 595 grams of magic mushrooms, and 160 pills of Diazepam and Alprazolam were found.
As hauls of LSD, MDMA and ecstasy tablets were also collected as evidence, say cops.
Mr Garcia was pictured looking smug as he was put in handcuffs and police took photos of the drugs.
He was questioned at the Mueang Chiang Mai Police Station over the alleged offences as cops claimed he even “studied drugs”.
The Brit now faces life in prison and potentially the death penalty if found guilty.
Police Major General of the Chiang Mai Provincial Police, Thawatchai Pongwiwattanachai, claimed Garcia admitted to selling drugs.
He then said the Brit allegedly told him he bought the narcotics from another tourist for £17,500.

Pongwiwattanachai continued: “The suspect claimed it was his first time selling narcotics, but we didn’t believe him because our investigation revealed he has a history of selling narcotics in Bangkok.
“He had entered Thailand on a student visa, which we believe was a ruse to allow him to stay in the country selling drugs.
“He didn’t study language like he was supposed to. He only studied drugs.
“We are investigating further as he was uncooperative and refused to provide the password for his phone.
“We intend to examine the Telegram application to uncover his drug network and take legal action against his suppliers and customers.”
According to reports, Thai police said Garcia has been charged with possessing drugs with intent to supply.
Thai law states that carrying category I drugs such as LSD and ecstasy for “disposal or possession for the purpose of disposal” can land a death sentence for anyone caught.
In Thailand just being caught with class A drugs on you can lead to a 10 year sentence.
THAILAND’S DRUG TROUBLES
Mr Garcia is the third British tourist arrested for allegedly dealing drugs in recent weeks.
Backpacker Andrew Brett, 36, was arrested for reportedly distributing cocaine and LSD on Koh Tao island in February.
As Peter Hull, 44, was allegedly caught in his home with cocaine and ecstasy in his room on Koh Samui island on March 1.
Alarmed neighbours called the cops on Hull after apparent strange and violent behaviour.
All three are facing lengthy spells behind bars before their hearings where they could face serious punishments.
