Dubai Airport left UNDERWATER as storm rains & flash floods turn runway into lake leaving flights suspended

A MAJOR storm in Dubai has led to major disruption, with a number of planes flooded at the world’s busiest airport.

Operations at Dubai International Airport (DXB) were suspended for 25 minutes and 21 outbound and 24 inbound flights were cancelled.

Another three flights were diverted to other neighbouring airports, a spokesperson told Gulf News.
