West Indies wicketkeeper Nichloas Pooran and Pakistan gloveman Mohammad Rizwan have withdrawn from the BBL Draft, while former South African captain Dane van Niekerk is unavailable due to injury.

WHEN IS THE DRAFT?

The Women’s Big Bash League draft gets underway on Sunday, September 3 at 5.30pm AEST, followed by the men’s draft at 7pm.

HOW TO WATCH?

Both drafts will be broadcast live on Fox Cricket (Channel 501) and streaming platform Kayo Sports.

HOW DOES THE DRAFT WORK?

There are four rounds with eight picks each, one for each club.

Only platinum players are eligible to be picked in the first round, while platinum and gold players can snapped in round two, followed by gold and silver players in round three, then silver and bronze players in the final round.

Each club must select two or three overseas players at the draft, only one of which can be a retention pick.
