Departing Broncos gun Herbie Farnworth just couldn’t help himself at the club’s presentation night, delivering a hilarious jibe on stage.

During the end-of-year celebrations, Keenan Palasia (Titans), Tom Flegler and Farnworth (Dolphins) were all called on stage.

The trio were all leaving ahead of the 2024 season, with Flegler making a speech on behalf of the departing players according to The Courier Mail.

However, coach Kevin Walters also prompted both Palasia and Farnworth to address the crowd.

Farnworth made Walters almost immediately regret the decision, saying “Phins up!” in to the microphone which was well received within the crowd.

However, Walters himself grabbed the microphone and reportedly said “Phins down” before Palasia gave his departing words.
