Sydney will be hoping to keep its increasingly hopeful finals chances alive with a win over the Gold Coast Suns at the SCG on Saturday.
The Swans (10-9-1, 111.3%) are surging towards an unlikely finals berth, winning their past four games to move to 10th in the ladder. Leigh Montagna told AFL 360: “Offensively and defensively they are just humming at the moment … they could be a team that make a little run.”
The Suns (9-11, 93.8%) are still mathematically a chance of featuring in a maiden September campaign, but will need everything to go right, with interim coach Steven King hopeful his side can get to a club-record 11 wins.
