My pals pulled out of our holiday to Ibiza so I went on my own – it turned into a crazy trip of a lifetime

A BRIT holidaymaker jetted to Ibiza on his own after his two pals pulled out of the trip – and ended up having the time of his life.

Jack Styles, 35, from Bexley, spent six days tearing up the clubs of the Spanish island and making new pals – and has now shared his tips for making the most of the party hotspot.

Photos showed Jack partying on a stunning sunset boat trip with a group of glam girls he’d met just days before at his hotel – who have since become “friends for life”.

Jack planned the trip to Ibiza with two of his pals and they were due to fly out on different days before meeting up on the island for a lads trip.

But just days before, one of his pals pulled out after his dad got sick – and his other friend also decided to stay put in the UK.

Instead of cancelling the trip, Jack made the decision to fly out on his own for a solo holiday – and he ended up having the trip of a lifetime.

Although it was a first for Jack, the 35-year-old said he would do it all again.

And now he’s planning to return to the island with his new pals for Ibiza’s famous closing parties in October.

He told The Sun: “I just made friends with other people and they said ‘look we’ve got this boat booked up why don’t you lot join’ and I did.

“The boat day, booked through Ibiza Times, was great. We had such good fun.

“The other girls were just in the same hotel, I ended up partying with them all week.

“Just talk to everyone, you’ll meet lots of good people and make new friends.

“Go to as many of the parties as you can and you’ll experience all the good things that the island has to offer.

“I did Hï Ibiza, Paradise at Amnesia, Solid Grooves at DC-10, Music On at Pacha, days at the beach and around the pool.”

Although the holiday didn’t go to plan, Jack said he made the best of it – and would encourage others to go alone to make friends.

“The girls are great – we’ve already spoken about booking in October for closing parties,” Jack said.

“I had a great time but ideally, I’d have the boys out there with me as well.

“But I can’t complain about the week that I had, so I’d most likely do it again by myself if the boys weren’t up for it.

“Ibiza is such a great place, you’ll always make friends over there.

“And when you aren’t with your own people, you’re more inclined to make friends with others.

“It was a great trip, definitely made friends for life. It’s what you make it at the end of the day isn’t it. Just have to get out there and make the best of it.

“It was definitely a crazy trip – I’m home now feeling broken and catching up on some much needed sleep.”

Brooke Lewis, from Southampton, and her group of girlfriends spent the day with Jack on the boat trip around the island.

She told The Sun: “Jack was out on his own but he’s the uncle of one of the girls I was on holiday with so we ended up going together.

“We literally had the best day on the boat.

“Some of us are booking with him to go back out for the closing parties.”

Jack’s wild Ibiza tale comes after another Brit flew to the island after work for a night out – and was back in the office the next day.

Ben Saunders’ friends were holidaying in Ibiza to celebrate one of their birthdays.

The 22-year-old was devastated he couldn’t join them on the getaway due to work commitments – but he didn’t let his shift stop him from missing out on the fun.

Ben decided to spontaneously jet out for the wild birthday bash on July 10 before casually returning to work the next day.

The whole adventure cost the influencer £400 – but he said it was worth it.

“It was a very freeing experience for me,” he said.

“I would encourage anyone else to go for a night out in Ibiza if they can. I hope I’ve proved this is possible.”
