SEOUL — North Korea has decided to deport Travis King, a U.S. soldier who crossed into the North in July, after determining he had illegally entered the country, Pyongyang announced Wednesday.
The state media report did not specify when King would be released.
It claimed that King “confessed that he illegally intruded into the territory of the DPRK,” the formal abbreviation for North Korea.
