The Panthers are reportedly investigating a video posted to centre Taylan May’s Instagram inside a sports car driving at speeds of 90 km/h in a residential area.

That is according to The Daily Telegraph, who is reporting the NRL’s Integrity Unit has been informed of the footage that was posted on social media over a week ago.

The footage showed May inside an Audi R8 hitting top speeds of 96km/h as seen in the speedometer on the car, with NSW speed limits sitting at 50km/h around homes.

The vision also looks to have been taken nearby a school, with May reportedly not being accused of any wrongdoing or driving the vehicle.

After reaching its top speed, a passengers in the car can be heard saying “holy moly bra” and the vehicle quickly brakes while another lets out a gasp.

Penrith bosses were reportedly informed of the footage’s existence on Sunday afternoon, during the club’s bye week.

It remains to be seen whether May will be handed punishment for posting the footage, with the club set to face the Tigers in Round 7.
