Victor Wembanyama blocks Giannis Antetokounmpo video, highlights, San Antonio Spurs vs Milwaukee Bucks

If you blinked, you missed two incredible dunks in San Antonio.

Spurs rookie Victor Wembanyama went toe-to-toe with the Bucks’ Giannis Antetokounmpo on Friday, with the pair treating fans to a real-life game of ‘NBA Jam’ in Milwaukee’s 125-121 win.

Antetokounmpo kicked things off early in the second quarter when he drove toward the basket, spun around the Spurs’ defence and put down a right-handed jam for two of his game-high 44 points.

Seconds later, with San Antonio in possession, Wembanyama, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft took a pass at the 3-point line, made a move to his left before passing the ball to himself off the backboard before slamming down the ball for a self alley-oop.

“Right back, right?” Reggie Miller said on the TNT broadcast to an almost-stunned play-by-play man Kevin Harlan.

“Didn’t I say there was going to be plays where you and I were going to be shaking our head[s] — back-to-back plays.”

“[Wembanyama] pulled the rabbit out of his head right there,” Harlan responded.

Not long after, both traded blocks on both ends of the floor as the two continued to entertain the Frost Bank Center crowd.

The pair put up some video game numbers, with Antetokounmpo adding 14 rebounds, seven assists and two blocks to his totals on the night.

It marked the eighth straight game the Greek Freak led Milwaukee in scoring, and sixth in a row he paced the team in rebounds.

Wembanyama finished with 27 points, 9 rebounds and five blocks in the losing effort.

The Spurs had a chance to tie up the game at the death when Wembanyama passed to an open Tre Jones in the right corner but he couldn’t make the 3-point shot.
